MANILA, Philippines — Salmon Group, one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing fintech groups, is demonstrating the value of real-time credit data sharing through its partnership with LenderLink, the country’s first real-time credit data exchange platform.
The partnership represents one of the first integrations by a Philippines-based fintech group of consumer credit data into a secure, consent-based credit exchange platform. This creates a new benchmark for how financial institutions can collaborate on shared infrastructure to help address risks of over-indebtedness while expanding access to fairly priced credit.
Using LenderLink-powered real-time credit data, Salmon aims to support safer lending practices during peak spending periods, helping Filipino consumers manage expenses responsibly while reducing default risks.
Salmon completed end-to-end integration in just four weeks, enabled by LenderLink’s API-first architecture and a streamlined process that minimizes lift for engineering and risk teams.
“Partnering with LenderLink strengthens our commitment to responsible lending. Access to verified, real-time credit data allows us to better assess credit applications and manage risk more effectively. Ultimately, this partnership helps us provide credit to more underserved and underbanked Filipinos – while ensuring their data remain protected at all times,” said Raffy Montemayor, Co-Founder of Salmon.
LenderLink maintains rigorous safeguards to ensure that customer data remains secure, and uncompromised. The platform is built on Open Finance principles and follows strict protocols for data handling, encryption, and access controls. In July 2025, LenderLink earned its ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management, underscoring its commitment to protecting sensitive financial information. This aligns with regulators’ push for stronger consumer protection and supports industry-wide efforts to curb abusive practices that have led to sanctions on non-compliant lenders.
As part of LenderLink’s growing network of 15 lenders and financial institutions, Salmon contributes to a shared pool of 36 million-plus borrower records. As of writing, LenderLink has had over a million credit record exchanges since launch.
“Salmon’s integration reflects the momentum we’re seeing across the industry,” said Christo Georgiev, co-founder and CEO of LenderLink. “When lenders collaborate through secure, consent-based data sharing, they reduce defaults, strengthen compliance and build a healthier financial ecosystem for millions of Filipinos.”
With additional members currently in the integration stage, LenderLink’s development pipeline is nearly filled through the end of 2025.
